Oh....

Tonight was meant to be a night out.

Change of plans, looking after friends 2 month old baby girl as older child needs taking to casualty..

I had forgotten how much baby sick smells, 3 change of tops later.....has brought back that memory.

It may well turn into an over-nighter from the latest update......i have forgotten what its like to get up for a night feed...i guess im going to have that memory brought back as well.

Well, i have to say it was not as bad as i thought it was going to be, she slept through from 12.30 ish to nearly 6 am...her dad picked her up half an hour ago, her brother is set to come home today, and now coffee..lots of it.

    It's amazing how quickly night feeds are blocked from the memory. Why else would we go through it all over again voluntarily!

      Thanks, think im going to need it, i have just settled her down now, not quite asleep so waiting to hope she does drop off....i must be mad lol

      well she has looked after mine many a time, and their son is poorly being kept in hospital overnight so i think most friends would do the same....fingers crossed she will settle ok.

      thanks Misty, it really went well, better thant expected, big brother is doing fine, had a really nasty stomach bug.

      it was in some ways lovely to have a baby around, however i couldnt go back to it again full time lol

      yep big brother is doing well, a scare at the time but thankfully not what they originally thought it was
